One of the surest ways to a healthy life is eating well. The Blue Mountain Hospital Dietary Department has the expertise to design a personalized menu to fit your needs. You don't have to be a hospital patient to rely on us!

Our trained staff works with you to change to a healthy, delicious diet. We translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions to help you feel better and eat better.

At the hospital, we provide homemade nutritious food to patients, staff and visitors.

Financial: Many insurers cover a visit to a registered dietitian, so check with your insurance company. Your doctor also can qualify for Medicare-covered service for those with diabetes or end-stage renal disease.

Who can use dietary services?

Your physician determines that you qualify for dietary services and will provide you the necessary referral.
We are now offering the 2016 National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP). Individuals must be referred by their physician and may be eligible for enrollment based on the following eligibility criteria:
-18 years or older
-BMI >24
-Diagnosis of prediabetes or GDM, OR score 9 or higher on the CDC's Prediabetes Screening Test.
