Cardiopulmonary Department

The Cardiopulmonary Department at Blue Mountain Hospital provides services to both inpatient and oupatients. Acute respiratory care services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to patients of all ages. We are staffed by three licensed Therapists who are RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapists) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapists).

We provide respiratory care services for patients with lung and pulmonary illnesses such as:

Pneumonia

Asthma

Bronchitis

Emphysema

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

In addition, we help patients with respiratory complications from heart attacks, cardiac problems, various premature births, lung cancer, etc.

We provide multiple testing and treatments such as:

Non-invasive mechanical ventilation

Oxygen therapy

Arterial blood gas analysis

Neonatal (Newborn) and pediatric services

Critical care medicine

Aerosol Medications (nebulizer treatments)

Electrocardiogram (EKG)

Holter monitoring

Cardiac stress testing

A Mobile Cardiac Echo Service is provided weekly (Tuesdays) at Blue Mountain Hospital by the Bend Memorial Clinic.
