Hospice Chaplains

Michael Harvey began working with hospice as a Spiritual Counselor in 2015 and he also serves as the Volunteer Coordinator. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has also lived in California, Washington, North Carolina, and Virginia. While in North Carolina, he was a Chaplain at a maximum-security prison for 18 years.

Presently, he and his wife Glenda have two grown children and live in Prairie City where he is also the pastor at Grace Chapel. Michael likes to fish, run, read, and listen to the Blues.

Being involved in hospice allows him to "bring hope, comfort and joy of the Lord to those who are going through their final chapter."
