BLUE MOUNTAIN HOSPITAL DISTRICT is accepting applications for RADIOLOGY ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (Part-Time) for critical access hospital. Competitive wage and benefits package.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a high quality diagnostic exam. Performs general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound exams, venous, and carotid Doppler. Follows appropriate guidelines for exams, patient needs, and confidentiality, QC/QI and archiving.
The individual in the position reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager. This position works closely with the Diagnostic Imaging team and other departments in order to provide complete patient care.
The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategy of Blue Mountain, personifying service and operational excellence. An intuitive understanding of Blue Mountain�s Team Accountability and Respect System (STARS) is expected, including the creation and maintenance of the best patient, employee, physician, and student experience.
The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of Diagnostic Imaging along with having the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates.
Establish & maintain solid working relationships with communication, cooperation, and positive interactive with all employees, staff, patients and physicians.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: Required
Associate in Applied Science - Allied Health Science.
337-010-0014 Qualifications of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer An individual who operates ultrasound equipment for medical imaging purposes must submit evidence of current credentialing in diagnostic medical sonography from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI). The Board will verify current credential status through review of the ARDMS, ARRT or CCI directory. If the applicant is not listed in the current applicable directory, he or she must request written verification of current credential be submitted directly to the Board by their credentialing organization.

Registry eligible - ARDMS in abdomen and/or OB/GYN.
One (1) year experience preferred in abdomen and OB/GYN exams.
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
